Hammar at SMOPYC 2026 - strengthening presence in Spain

Hammar is strengthening its presence on the Spanish market through participation at SMOPYC 2026, 15-18 April, expanded local support and continued deliveries on the mainland.

At SMOPYC (Stand 05, South area), Hammar will showcase the Hammar 195 C alongside its AI-based monitoring system, presented for the first time in Spain.

Hammar 195 C on display
The unit on display, sold to Transmagon E Hijos, S.L. in Lanzarote, represents a proven Sideloader setup for container handling. The Hammar 195 C offers 36-tonne lifting capacity and has a telescopic chassis for 10’–45’ containers. The combination of it’s tilting and telescopic stabilizers and parallel sliding enables improved operation in environments with limited space, while also allowing adjustment of weight distribution between truck and trailer.

Hammar will also present its AI-based camera monitoring system, designed to detect people in the working area, warn the operator and, depending on setup, prevent operation if a risk is identified.

Growing activity on the mainland
Hammar continues to see increased demand on the Spanish mainland. A recent example is the delivery of a Hammar 195 HC to ACIRFA Shipping International S.L. in Barcelona, supporting container operations in a key logistics hub.

Expanded service support in Spain
To support this growth, Hammar has established a new service partnership with AlquiTrailer Quality on Road S.L., based outside Madrid. The setup provides local access to technical support, preventive maintenance and spare parts coordination.
