Hammar at IAA 2018

During 20th and 27th September Hammar attended the world’s largest exhibition for commercial vehicles in Hannover, Germany: The 67th IAA commercial vehicles. Together with our co-exhibitor, Schmid Transport und Spedition GmbH & Co. KG, our stand featured their new HAMMAR 119 HS with gooseneck chassis – the first of it’s kind in Germany! The HAMMAR 119 is the same as the HAMMAR 110, except it’s equipped with a HAMMAR 195 support leg at the back or front (back in this case).

The advantage of combining the two is that you have one support leg which requires less operating space, while you are still are able to speed up transfering operations significantly. The transfering capabilities of a pure 110 is slightly better in some situations, but you it will be much easier to handle one of two 20′ containers with the 119 combination.
